Krama back in Urban Fashion

The Khmer Scarf known as ‘Krama’ has been around like since forever, withstanding the test of time, remaining relevant to the Cambodian identity. Knowing how to wear it is one thing, but to flaunt it like a true fashionista is quite another. With a few chic tricks up their sleeves, Ouk Sovanlyda and photo-journalist Va Sonyka bring the Krama back by illustrating some cool ways to spice up urban fashion.
WEARY of carrying the same old bag every day, not feeling too extravagant to buy a new one, having a hard time matching her bag to her outfit, Sonyka grabs a Krama and ties it into a big fluffy ribbon onto the strap of her black faux leather bag (see pic). Not only will it add a dash of colour to the plain wardrobe, it will also be a conversation starter everywhere she stops.
